Hermann Police Arrest Two Fugitives

Early Sunday morning, officers with the Hermann Police Department, with the assistance of the Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office Special Emergency Response Team, executed an arrest search warrant in the four-hundred block of East Tenth Street. The execution of the warrant came after several weeks of investigation by the Hermann Police Department involving Donald Eiring, a man who was wanted and had fled from the St. Louis Community Release Center several months ago. During the investigation, officers learned that Eiring was staying at the residence. He was considered armed and dangerous from prior arrests involving resisting arrest and weapons violations. During a search of the residence, officers were able to located and arrest Eiring without incident. Another man, Jeremiah Swaller of Viburnum was also found at the residence and he was arrested on two outstanding warrants for shoplifting and possession of heroin.
