The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold an open-house style public meeting next Thursday, June 2, to discuss potential future improvement projects along the Highway 61 corridor in St. Charles and Lincoln Counties.
The public meeting will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the William R. Cappel Elementary School in Moscow Mills. The proposed improvements are in addition to the Highway 61 project that is already scheduled to begin in St. Charles County between Granville Drive and Peine Road during the summer of next year.
The meeting will allow the public to provide input and comments, either directly to MoDOT engineers or in written form, on the proposed recommendations and possible impacts. Since there are no formal presentations during the public meeting, participants may attend at any time during the open house. There will also be an opportunity to comment online beginning June 2 at www.modot.org.
