Wentzville School Board Hires New Middle School Principal

The Wentzville School District Board of Education has approved the hiring of Dr. Jeri LaBrot as Principal of Frontier Middle School for the 2016-2017 school year. Dr. LaBrot will replace Kelly McClain, who has served in that role since 2012 and has accepted a new position outside of the District.

Dr. LaBrot is currently the Assistant Principal of North High in the Fort Zumwalt School District. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University, a Masters in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University, and an Educational Leadership Doctorate from Maryville University.

Dr. LaBrot taught Spanish at West High for six years before taking a job as an Assistant Principal at North High in 2012. “I’m absolutely thrilled to work with the students, families, and staff at Frontier Middle School,” said LaBrot.  “It’s a wonderful school community with tons of positive energy and opportunities for students to grow and learn.” Dr. LaBrot is a native of Missouri and lives with her husband and two children in Lake Saint Louis.
